Anyone excited for BO6?

Taking a few days hiatus from gaming so I'm fresh to go for BO6 release date. Probably wouldn't have bought it without GP, so thankful for that

Agreed about the MW games. The Black Ops games are generally pretty good. Cold War was solid

Got a new computer last fall and finally gamed after close to 14 years without . Played the campaigns on COD 2007 I believe it was , really enjoyed . Haven’t purchased the newer versions yet

The older CODs have better campaigns tbh. Even Ghosts and Advanced Warfare had solid campaigns

I'll play it, but I wasn't too impressed with the beta. It looked/felt more like playing airsoft t han playing a military arcade arena shooter. Everyone looked like an uncanny valley tier cosplayer, guns sounded like my nephew's automatic water gun, etc.

The only funny thing was being able to spam 'shhhh' in the winners' circle because I still smash GenZ and Gen Alpha kids like I smashed other millennials in games between 2001-2019.

I started doing the shhh shhh shhh thing too for the lulz. Beta was a solid 7/10. The worst thing for me was the maps they were all terrible imo, which is very unlike of Treyarch

Yeah. I'm not a huge fan of 3arc games because their 3-lane maps are too predictable and boring, but the BO6 beta maps were also complete clusterfucks. And not in the fun way I typically find of 2009-11 era IW either. They all played like small maps where you're in the action within 5 seconds of spawning, and get shot from every angle in any position. If every/most maps are like this, then I will not play much at all.

I didn't mind the HVT mode too much. I thought it was kind of fun just getting mobbed and trying to fight them off.

Cold War was the best COD game since 2019 IMO, but still too fast paced for my preferences. Won't play multiplayer in this game, but one of my friends is going to download it and try out zombies, if he says that's good I'll give it a try.

Probably not getting it, Sparking Zero is enough for me until Path of Exile 2. But we'll see, waiting on more reviews.

EDIT: I actually really liked the 2022 CoD (Modern Warfare 2), but couldn't get into the 2023 CoD (Modern Warfare 3) - regret buying it.

Imagine playing Call of Duty for the campaign

Glad I didn't spend $80 on this.

It's not terrible but it plays the same LOL. No matter the game mode, it all ends the same way. 15 minute matches with the same run n gun tactics. The map and spawn layout also makes it where nobody can be really good. I've tried going for high streaks only to be shot by some guy who spawn at a different angle.

This game is made where everybody just plays average. I was good with the 2010 MW2 and 2011 BO1 maps. But the map layouts for this game is bad.


Hopefully Battlefield returns to normal, those matches ALWAYS played different

I dont remember the map names so The farmhouse is fun to run shotguns inside the house, makes that map hilarious especially when the other team gets fed up with it and starts running them as well.

The stadium seems to be pretty fun, I try to avoid the outdoor section where the cars are.

The strip mall map is fine.

The destroyed bunker type map is awful.

Vault isn't too bad.

2) the game feels good. Guns are satisfying to use and the omni movement isn't terrible.

3) damage is a bit inconsistent

play hardcore like a man and not regular mode like a transexesual twink.... anyways i hate the canal map(i assume it's Italy) i always do terrible on it... the map in the apartments that's all just connected rooms is real fun
