I'm looking at my outlook for the next 6 years or so and think i can hit $100k in my industry if i job hop a couple times. If I'm gonna wageslave, might as well strive for higher.
Only thing is, $100k doesn't seem like much. It's only $5400/month net. I'm not a luxury spender, but moreso want to invest and retire asap. I feel like $150k would be perfect between comfy living and retirementmaxxing. That's a little over $8k/month.
The biggest expense would be mortgage. The lower I keep that, the more money I'd have leftover.
