You guys like to constantly rag servers/bartenders but trust me, most of you would have a mental breakdown on your first week. Imaging have 6 tables having to take orders, run drinks, run food, run desserts, dealing with complaints and X3 too that because you'll probably have several turns within the work shift. It really isn't for the weak minded and is physically exhausting, that's why most servers become drug addicts. I couldn't count how many people quit after the first day lmao.
Half of you wouldn't last a week in the restaurant industry

Use to be a bus boy for Rio Bravo back in the early 2000s. Used to smoke weed in the walk in lmfaooo good times. Job was depressing as there were 30, 40yr olds and that was their main job.Florida Crew 🌴

I was a cook in a pizzeria/restaurant for 5 years. The kitchen is absolutely brutal. Ungodly hours, chit pay, no benefits, no pto or sick time. Brb missing every single family event/holiday because you have to work weekends and your day off is like Tuesday or some chit. Thankfully my place was closed Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas but some places you’ll even work those days.
The work was fun, though. A busy dinner night was an adrenaline rushLast edited by John L; 10-08-2024, 09:10 PM.Comment

Bus boy---barista----waiter----food runner at high $$$
Spent many a nights until 1am sweating in a collared shirt in a kitchen having orders barked at me in half french/English. Spent countless morning up at 6am to open coffee shop as a 16 year old. All this and guess what, still against tipping and wish we ran more like a euro model of higher base pay and rare tipping. Slide that Ipad around with a 20% tip on an already overpriced item that you took 2 steps to put in a bag and hand to me while on your phone and you can suck my cawk.
Don't try and convince others your job is hard or deserves more when its designed for college kids and adult coke addicts. Get a real coke head job like finance you loser.🟩 11👎 1Comment

Meh, i've worked a bunch of jobs ranging from chitty physical labor to white collar work including bussin tables in high school. It ain't easy making other people's money no matter where u work. You have geeks like guienodawg585 wanting to die while working an easy office job. EOD's main problem was his job was so easy that it gave him anxiety to the point that he had to hide in the bathroom. Dingleberry and Mikelowrrey works a high paying office job and can't stand it. I too have worked an easy job and it's not all that it's made out to be.
There are pros and cons to every job and it's important to find what's tolerable for you srs.Comment
