Video too long so didn't watch, but largely agree with what I think is the premise.

Inflation in all areas (rent, groceries, bills/insurance, taxes) has been so bad that even if you make $100k/yr and live alone in most areas of USA you're hardly saving anything if you're going out for activities and restaurants/drinks. Some restaurants which got you a full meal for less than $3 back in the early 2010s are now literally $20+ for equivalent portions - and average household income has barely moved upwards in relation to that.

If the topic is more about "nothing being exciting and people being NPCs," then also agree with that. I was partially wondering if this is just a feeling that comes with aging, but I think both things are true (aging causes apathy, society has become boring NPCs with lack of enthusiasm).
