I have like three different accents I use and I kinda code switch depending on who I talk to (srs). I’ve lived in a few different places so it beez like that🟩 1 -
mirin. I think I have 2 modes. One where I'm really trying to enunciate every syllable, so the transplant from California can understand what I'm saying. And then the mode where I've had 2-3 drinks and I sound like the video srs🟩 1Comment

IDK if it's a mental tick or like I'm digging my own grave. But I've definitely had some occasions where I was anticipatory of speaking, could be at a grocery store or fast food check out, could be on a business call or an in person meeting, and I just straight up didn't want to converse but had to. And I get this feeling like "oh lawd I'm gonna butcher the hell outta this." Even if I know ahead of time how I want to say it. And of course, I phark it up. Literally leave feeling like I have the 'tism. But I've had more positive experiences than negative, I just focus on the negatives lol.
For me, speaking clearly, and coming across as charismatic or normal, is something I strive for. But don't always nail.🟩 1Comment

The superior Southern accent is difficult to understand by lower intellect people from elsewhere.🟩 1Comment

No I'm what you call a certified yapper as the kids say. I can talk to anyone about mostly anything srs. Unless I'm stoned and my social skills take a 15% hit
But overall I'm easy to understand. Maybe when I'm super tired and I mumble idk🟩 1Comment

Not really, but I grew up in NOVA, MD area, and I remember my friends making fun of me when I moved down here to GA that I would sound like a Redneck lol.
I can put a good southern accent pretty good, and When I talk I guess I sound southern.Comment
