I need to cut a shooting lane on my property. Don't have much but it's narrow so think I can get 150 yds, which is plenty for me. Feels a lot bigger since there's no neighbors for miles.
Got new trail cams I need to put up too.

nice. Wish I had a bunch of land like that. I've looked for some big acreage but it's pretty expensive near me, and not worth if it's going to be a couple hrs away. Need to find a farmer's daughter to date.

I love how "preppers" or people with "land" think they would be safe in a SHTF siuation. What you need is people with the same link mind as you to band together. It would be power in numbers. 15 guys could take one heavily armed guy pretty easily and in a worst case scenario it will be more than likely roaving bands of people looking to take YOUR shit. The more you hoard the bigger target you will be.

I know I do a lot of trolling on forums, but one thing I am serious about is how social survival is, and how the relationships and planning in the community you do NOW matters. The easiest and most thorough option is to organize politically ahead of time to make sure survival never narrows down to a per-person basis. You WANT your sheriff and other community organizers to understand this, and in some areas they do.
