roll up one dry tissue into a fine dense point and insert it deep into the port. replace tissue point every couple of hours. the objective here is to wick out the moisture from the port. turn the device off and stop trying to fucking impatiently charge it with the wet port.

Fixed it by leaving the charging cable connected and pressing the power button until it came back on

Simple Solution.

Order the same phone off of Amazon. Take the new phone out, put the old one in, then return it and say it doesn't work. Just got a new free phone

after a while the charging port started working again but my camera got water dmg. so i ended up upgrading it.

but charger port connector has corrosion. if you are daring you can attempt to disassemble the phone and check. if you see any rust you can sand it off gently and reapply solder
