I’m in all index funds (spy/qqq/rsp/vxus) sans one stock.

mcd was the first stock I ever bought and have been adding to it for the last 15 years. It just chugs along and picks up a decent Div, nothing flashy, but it’s been good to me.

Still on the NVDA hype train for those who remember me from misc.

Lost some money on some expired calls recently but all in all I'm around +$20k for the year thanks to NVDA.

June I peaked around $156k in my non-retirement investment account (mostly from holding shares while NVDA was $140, continued to hold those shares ever since). Sold some shares, taking out $50k for a down payment on a new construction. Lost some from NVDA calls. Now the account's hovering around $80k - planning to pull out another $50k worth to add to the down payment at close time (to make 20%). If NVDA stays around these levels I should have about $30k in there after all's said and done with house purchase.

I've got a good chunk in my checking to cover the costs of the move but might sell more NVDA if needed to avoid taking on any additional debt.

Goal after the move is to put $1k/mo extra at the principal of the mortgage, and $1k/mo into NVDA shares. Staying away from options probably until I've got like $50k+ in there and try to do more conservative plays in the future (longer expiry dates, less money thrown into it relative to my account value, etc.).

As they're actively lowering rates? Not sure if srs.

I think you underestimate how much money was printed over the past several years, and will be printed under either upcoming administration. Still a lot of liquidity out there.

Also, SOFI is currently my largest holding as far as an individual stock goes. Mirin.

Boeing is currently my only holding. Got in just over a week ago at 149. Up a quick 6-7%.

I had some Ford that was going nowhere, and some Nucor that gave me a nice 10% bounce before I sold, but dumped those. Sitting on mostly cash right now just waiting. Nucor got popped down bigly today, might scoop some up on discount.

Previous misc pick was Nike, got in when it plunged to 73, sold out at 83 a few weeks later. My strategy is to bottom/value feed quality companies when they get hit with some bad news or a bad cycle.

Just bought 400 shares of Nucor at 146 and 500 shares of SMCI at 45.6. Wish me luck.
